Barbara Jane Bowser, 64, of Friedens, died January 28, 2018 in Somerset. Born March 8, 1953 in Meyersdale, she is the daughter of Joseph Curtis and Hazel Virginia Foy. Preceded in death by her parents; brother Joseph A. Foy; and sister Cathy Lee Housel. Survived by her children: Ernie L. Bowser married to the former Tammy Sullivan of Shanksville, Pamela Marsh and husband James, Heidi Lensbouer and husband Tim, and Bobby Bowser all of Somerset; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; also brothers and sisters: Clifford Stiffey and wife Kay of Sellersburg, Ind, David Foy and wife Donna, Paul Foy and wife Linda, Roger Foy and wife Lynne, all of Berlin; Jane Wolfe and husband Michael of Fairhope, and Terry Foy of Somerset. Barbara was a member of Abundant Life Christian Center, and VFW Post 554. Friends received 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset where a service will immediately follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Samuel Coughenour officiating.
