David Eugene Hutzell, 60, of Berlin, died January 24, 2016 at Windber Medical Center. Born June 22, 1955 in Warren, Ohio, he is the son of Charles L. Hutzell and Effie (Shaffer) Hughs. Preceded in death by his father. Survived by his mother and her husband George Hughs of Mt Savage, wife the former Rhonda Ann Weaver to whom he was married 16 years, sons: Shawn Hutzell married to the former Anne Blank of Frostburg, Aaron Hutzell of Mt. Savage, grandsons: Jacob and Christian Hutzell, brothers and sisters: Jim Hutzell and wife Sue of Hyndman, Sharon Snyder and husband Gary, Linda Sullivan and husband Charles "Skip", Charles Hutzell and wife Debbie, and Cobey Hughs all of Mt. Savage. Dave is a graduate of Mt. Savage High School, he worked as a machinist for Global Inc. in Somerset, he was a lifetime member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 445, and was an avid hunter. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday with Reverend J. Matthew Deal officiating.
