Donald Lee Zerfoss, 74, of Somerset, died January 16, 2016 at The Patriot. Born October 10, 1941 in Stonycreek Twp. he is the son of Leroy and Anna (Boyd) Zerfoss. Preceded in death by parents, wife the former Martha Louise Saler who died May 2, 2011, sisters: Ruth Durst and Lois Keller, and brother Fred Zerfoss. Survived by children: Polly Hornig and husband Rick of Mifflinburg, Coleen Miller and husband Daniel of Madison Heights, VA, D. Todd Zerfoss married to the former Kelly Bittner of Bristow, VA; grandchildren: Zachary, Joshua, Nicholas and Benjamin Hornig, Jade Tyree and husband Chris, Ryan Croyle, Christian and Madison Zerfoss; brother Earl Zerfoss of Clarion and sister Judy Ackerman and husband Charles of Meyersdale. Don worked until his retirement as a fabricator for J&J Truck Bodies, he was a member of Mostoller United Methodist Church, he enjoyed watching NASCAR as well as watching the various county sporting events. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset where a service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday with Reverend Heidi Marie Helsel officiating.
