Doris Elsie Horner, 79, of Somerset, died July 20, 2016 at Somerset Hospice House. Born November 29, 1936 in Jenner Twp., she is the daughter of Harry L. and Elvera (Berkey) Horner.  Preceded in death by her parents, husband Edmund Miller Horner who died March 18, 2013, and brothers: Carl, Robert, Donald, Duane, and James Horner.  Survived by her children: Barbara Horner and Richard Horner both of Somerset, and Debbie Horner of Rockwood, sister Betty J. Smith and husband Glenn of Menoher Heights, Jack C. Horner and wife Joyce of Hollsopple and Thomas L. Horner and wife Celine of Thomas Mills.  Doris was a graduate of Jennerstown Boswell Joint High School, she loved her job and all the friends she made as a waitress at McDonald's until she recently retired, she was also a member of Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church.  Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset where a service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Reverend Traci Bowman officiating.  Interment Casebeer Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to Somerset Humane Society PO Box 182, Somerset, PA 15501. www.haugerzeigler.com
