Dorothy Louise Long, 87, of Somerset, formerly of Davidsville, died November 12, 2016 at The Patriot, Somerset. Born August 4, 1929 in Shanksville, she is the daughter of the late Merle Snyder and Nannie Elverna (Landis) Long.  Survived by her son Joseph G. Thrash married to the former Debra Jarvis of Friedens, twin granddaughters, Tamara Galloway and husband Jody of Friedens, and Elizabeth Bobo and husband Kevin of Arnold, MD; great grandchildren, Samantha and David Barron, Kyle and Nathan Bobo, and Brittney Murphy, and great great grandchildren, Breann and Braden.  Dorothy worked until her retirement as a registered nurse working for various places including the former Somerset State Hospital and Somerset Community Hospital.  Friends received 9-11 a.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend Edward DeVore officiating.  Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, PO Box 1173, Somerset, PA 15501. www.haugerzeigler.com
