Ernest Neil Dunmyer, 93, of Somerset, died July 7, 2016 at Somerset Hospice House, Somerset. Born August 18, 1922 in Somerset he is the son of Oran C. and Lottie Mae (Pletcher) Dunmyer.  Preceded in death by his parents, wife the former Marian Grace Shaulis who died December 21, 2013, brothers Homer and Elmer Roy Dunmyer and sister Audra Walk.  Survived by children: Neil Jay Dunmyer married to the former Bernice Miller of Florida, Dennis Ray Dunmyer married to the former Marleen Wilson of Colorado and Sandra Kay Robinson and husband Steven of Maryland, also survived by grandchildren: Jason Dunmyer and wife Lisa of Florida, Jeannette Elrod and husband Chris, Dennis Dunmyer and wife Jenny Hellman, and Stephen Dunmyer all of Colorado also two great grandchildren Aubrey and Gavin.  Ernie was a US Army Veteran of WWII he worked until his retirement in 1985 as a tool and die maker for the former Coleman Co. in Somerset, he was a member of Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church, and a life member of VFW Post 554.  Friends received 12 noon-2 p.m. Saturday (today) at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset where a service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Reverend Barry K.
