Gerard Santillo, 70, of Somerset, PA, died March 8, 2016 in Somerset.  Born April 25, 1946 in Wilkinsburg, PA he is the son of Claude and Caroline (Zappa) Santillo.  Preceded in death by his parents, wife the former Denise Eileen Casey who died July 24, 2014, and brother Ronald Santillo.  Survived by his children, Nicole R. Santillo-Oswalt and husband Jason of Johnstown and William B. Santillo of Somerset also granddaughter Emma Grace Santillo; also survived by brother and sisters; David Santillo and wife Diane of Derry, Gloria Santillo of Monroeville, Arlene Quinn of Seattle, WA, Shirley Moag and husband Cliff of Meyersdale, and sister-in-law Yvette Santillo of Rockville, MD.   Gerard is a US Army Veteran of Vietnam, he worked until his retirement as a Quality Control Manager for the former Crane Corp with 25 years of service, he was a lifetime member of Vietnam Veterans of America, VFW Post 554, American Legion Post 181, he was also a member of First Christian Church, FOE Aerie 1801, he also enjoyed doing charity work for the Children's Aid Home.  Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday with Pastor Samuel Draper officiating.  Interment National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.  In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to a Veterans Organization.  Military rites accorded by the Somerset County Honor Guard. www.haugerzeigler.com
