Guy Ellsworth Beabes, 88, of Somerset, PA, died June 4, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.  Born December 9, 1928 in Somerset, he is the son of Issac and Emma (Chaplain) Beabes.  Preceded in death by his parents, daughter Carol Ann Beabes, grandson Shaun C. Beabes, and brother Oran Beabes.  Survived by his wife the former Cora Faye Keafer to whom he was married 68 years.  Children, Ronald P. Beabes married to the former Pamela J. Zeigler of Somerset, Jeffrey A. Beabes married to the former Stephanie "Stevie" Blough of Johnstown, Lorie Ann Beabes of Euclid, OH, and Timothy L. Beabes married to the former Debra Shupe of Somerset, grandchildren, Justin and wife Andrea, Abraham and wife Madeline, Hannah and husband Christopher, and Emily, also great-grandchildren, Clayton and Declan, and Guy's good buddy Mark.  Many thanks to his caregivers/helpers Margie, Tammy, Cathy, and the Viaquest Staff.  Guy is a 1946 graduate of Somerset High School, he worked until his retirement as a carpenter/contactor.   He was much loved and respected and will be missed.  Friends received 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m..
