Helen Marie Resnick, 93, of Somerset, died December 26, 2016, at Somerset Hospital, Somerset.  Born September 23, 1923 in Jenners, she is the daughter of John and Rosemary (Shields) Resnick.  Preceded in death by her parents, sister Ann and brother Joseph.  Survived by her sister Theresa Quesnell of Cheboygan, MI, nieces and nephews, Mary Duke, Teri Quesnell, Michael Quesnell, Karen Pelzer and Julie Russell, also great nieces and great nephews, Patrick and Jakob Russell, Trevor, Chip and Emily Peltzer, and Carly Quesnell.  Helen was a graduate of Boswell High School, and the Business School in York, she worked until her retirement as a social serviced clerk with the DPW office in Somerset, she was also a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Somerset. Friends received 12 noon-1 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset where a service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. with Fr. Daniel J.
