Jane Louise May, 91, of Somerset formerly of Shanksville and Saxton, died August 13, 2016 at Somerset Hospice House, Somerset.  Born July 3, 1925 in Bedford, she is the daughter of Rutherford B. and Martha. (Morrise) Martin.  Preceded in death by her parents, husband George J. May, daughter Annamary J. Hinkle, and infant sons William George May and Clair John May.  Survived by her son-in-law Clair D. Hinkle of Saxton, grandchildren Erika M. Caley and husband Guy M. and Duane D. Walsh and wife Meagan all of Pittsburgh, great grandchildren Madeline J. and Nathaniel L. Caley and Ian M. Walsh.  Jane is a 1944 graduate of Broad Top High School, she was a member of the Shanksville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, Shanksville United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years as well as in Saxton and she later attended First United Methodist Church in Somerset. Friends received 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset and one hour prior to the service at the church which will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shanksville United Methodist Church, Shanksville, with Revs. Jeffrey L.
