Jane Elizabeth Zimmerman, 85, of Somerset, PA, died July 1, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital, PIttsburgh. Born April 26, 1932 in Somerset, she is the daughter of the late Frank B. and Leoma Adeline (Saylor) Miller. Jane, is a 1950 graduate of Somerset High School, a 1954 graduate of James Madison University and she received her masters in education in 1959 from Pennsylvania State University. She worked until her retirement in 2000 as an elementary school teacher for Mt. Pleasant Area Schools at Donegal Elementary. She was also a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Somerset, PSEA and NEA. Friends received 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend J. Matthew Deal officiating.
