Junabeth Gendran Stone, 45, of Somerset, died January 25, 2018 at Latrobe Area Hospital. Born June 22, 1972 in Negros, Philippines, she is the daughter of Telesforo Tendo and Angiolina Dapatso (Salcedo) Gendran of Negros, Phillippines. Survived by her parents, husband Phillip Andrew Stone to whom she was married 6 years, brothers, Jison Gendran and wife Aira Johanna of Negros, Philippines and Joie Gendran and wife Antonette of Manilla, Philippines, also father and mother-in-law, Douglas and Esther Stone of Markleton, sisters-in-law, Gail Shaffer and husband Stewart of Markleton, Rebekah Knotter and husband Jeffrey of Rockwood, and Lauren Balozian and husband Puzant of Byblos, Lebanon, and many nieces and nephews. Junabeth had worked as a middle school teacher teaching math for the Baltimore City School District, she also enjoyed playing guitar, singing, and traveling. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday with Pastor Michael Faidley officiating.
