Lorene Stafford Mock, 89, of Somerset formerly of Garrett, died December 16, 2016 at the Heritage, Somerset.  Born March 21, 1927 in Garrett, PA.  She is the daughter of John Charles and Elizabeth Thompson (Morgan)Stafford.  Preceded in death by her parents, husband Albert Lee Mock, and brothers Robert P. and William O. Stafford.  Survived by her children, Larry D. Mock and wife Mary of Blackstone, VA, Carol A. Packard and husband Jeff of Greenville, NC, Donny L. Mock and wife Heather of Locust Grove, VA, 3 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, also her sister Mary E. Witt of Garrett.  Lorene was a graduate of Meyersdale High School, she worked as an administrative assistant for the Department of Defense, the Surgeon General and the U.S. Army, she was also a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Garrett, and a former member of the VFW Post 181 Ladies Auxiliary.  Friends received 10 a.m.-12 noon Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset where a service will immediately follow at 12 noon with Reverend Dr. Arthur Gotjen officiating.  Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made to Grace United Church of Christ PO Box 193 Garrett, PA 15542. www.haugerzeigler.com
