Mary Ann Boyer, 84 of Bakersville formerly of Berlin died April 12, 2016 at her home with her family by her side.  Born November 8, 1931 she is the daughter of Robert George and Margaret Mae (Farling) Pritts.  Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Earl E. Boyer, in 2013, and her son, Earl H. Boyer.  She will be sadly missed by her children: Gayla (Boyer) Adams and husband Charles of Wesley Chapel, NC, Gregory E. Boyer and wife Laurie of Reno, NV, Jackalin (Hagins) Boland and husband Ray Michael of Bakersville, Randy J. Hagins and wife Charlene of Largo, FL, R. Scott Boyer and wife Deborah of Somerset, Jeri L. Phillips of LaVale, MD, and Anne (Boyer) Onstead and husband Jeffrey of Berlin; also her loving 18 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Robert Pritts and wife Joyce of New Centerville, Shirley Schrock and husband Lon of Somerset, Nancy Miller and husband Paul of Houston, TX, and Richard Pritts and wife Jane of Allentown.  Mary is a 1949 graduate of Rockwood High School, she was the first female real estate agent in Somerset and founded Somerset County Real Estate, and later worked with her son, Scott Boyer, as an appraiser.  Mary loved quilting, reading, and spending time with her family at home and in the Outer Banks.  She loved flower gardens and bird watching with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Mary was  a woman of strong faith and integrity, and her presence will be greatly missed.  Friends received 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday at Freedom in Christ Community Church, Somerset where a service will immediately follow at 12:30 p.m. with her grandson Lucas Boland officiating.  Private interment Berlin I.O.O.F.
