Mary Jane Edmiston, 84, of Somerset, died January 9, 2018 at The Patriot.  Born November 19, 1933 in Rockwood, she is the daughter of Charles Wesley and Alezeba "Luzeba" Elizabeth (Hemminger) Phillippi.  Preceded in death by her parents, husband Dale Eugene Edmiston who died December 28, 2000, and sister Lois Burket.  Survived by her daugher Judy A. Faidley and husband Randy of Rockwood, and son David E. Edmiston married to the former Susan Nicholson of Deltona, FL, grandchildren; Christina O'Connell and husband Aaron of Manchester, PA, Caroline Edmiston of Williston, ND, and Joshua Edmiston of Rockwood; sister and brother, Charlene Crawford and husband Harold of Hawthorne, PA, and Charles Phillippi and wife Jane of Rockwood.  Mary Jane is a 1952 graduate of Rockwood High School, she worked until her retirement for Gilmour Mfg.  she enjoyed sports and was a former All Star softball player, she also enjoyed going to the Rockwood basketball games.  Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday with Reverend Patrick Walsh officiating.  Interment Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.  www.haugerzeigler.com
