Nellie Margaret Persuhn, 88, of Hooversville, PA, died February 28, 2017 at The Patriot, Somerset.  Born July 8, 1928 in Fort Hill, she is the daughter of Ambrose M. and Edna (Shearer) Hinzy.  Preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward James Persuhn who died February 14, 2011, grandson Daniel Persuhn, step granddaughter Carrie Beal, brothers: Homer, Ambrose Jr., Warren, Glenn, Bobby, and Billy and sisters: Minerva, Leora and Louise.  Survived by her children, Edward J. Persuhn married to the former Anita Saylor, Bonnie L. Phillippi and husband Clyde all of Somerset, Randall D. Persuhn married to the former Monica Yanosky of Central City, and David Persuhn married to the former Toni Cordwell of Gibsonia; grandchildren: Ray, Jeff, Kevin, Jennifer, Randy and Nikki, step grandchildren, Barry, Ryan and Travis, great grandchildren, Jacob, Brady, Alexis, Andrew, Katelin, Samantha, Emelia, and Jonny, step great grandchildren, Hannah, Hailey, Logan, Cory, Ally, Maddie, Lily, Chris, and two great great grandsons, Logan, Lane. Also survived by sister, Betty Beal, Schellsburg.  Nellie is a 1947 graduate of Rockwood High School, she loved gardening and camping.  Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday with Reverend Cletus Leasure officiating.  Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. www.haugerzeigler.com
