Paul Edward Younkin, 73, of Markleton, went to be with his Lord on September 17, 2016 at Somerset Hospital, Somerset, PA.  Born January 1, 1943 in Markleton, PA, he is the son of James Arthur and Mahala Elizabeth (King) Younkin.  Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Melvin "Bud", Charles and Robert Younkin and sisters Sara May, Ruth Tressler, and Martha Knopsnyder.  Survived by his wife the former Ada Louise Ewt to whom he was married 47 years, son Michael Younkin married to the former Kelly Grant and granddaughter Sada Rose Younkin all of Somerset; also survived by his sisters, Mary Jane Pugh of Somerset and Shirley Merryman of Confluence.  Paul is a graduate of Rockwood High School, he worked until his retirement as a carpenter for the Carpenters Union, he was a member of Old Bethel Church, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  Friends received 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset where a service will immediately follow at 6 p.m. with Rev.
