Robert Lawrence Flick, 74, of Somerset, died March 15, 2017 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born July 19, 1942 in Somerset he is the son of Ray Walter and Cora Ethel (Stairs) Flick.  Preceded in death by his parents, wife the former Barbara Jean Rosemond who died April 13, 2009, and brother Fred M. Flick.  Survived by his sons, Edgar R. Flick married to the former Catherine Caldaroni of Somerset, and Samuel M. Flick married to the former Amy Brendlinger of Loganville, PA, grandchildren: Brian, Victoria, Jared, Brett, William, Alexander and Lucas, and great grandchildren: Austin, Sierra, Hunter, August, and Callie, also brother James A. Flick and wife Pamela of Somerset and his beloved cat Smokey. Robert is a 1961 graduate of Somerset High School, he is a US Army Veteran of Vietnam, he worked until his retirement with 40 years of service as a tractor trailer driver for New Enterprise Stone and Lime, he was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, VFW Post 554, American Legion Post 181, Teamsters Union, and the National Humane Society.  Robert loved spending time traveling the US on odysseys with his wife, and gambling at various casinos.  He was an avid rail fan and he especially enjoyed family cookouts in the summers.  Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, a service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset with Reverend William Triebe officiating.  Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made to Somerset Humane Society PO Box 182, Somerset, PA 15501.
