Rodney Kenton Schrock, 85, of Somerset, died December 12, 2017 at The Patriot, Somerset. Born January 20, 1932 in Johnstown, he is the son of the late Richard Ernest and Ruth Evelyn (Dumbauld) Schrock.  Survived by his wife the former Marian Elizabeth Bowman to whom he was married 57 years, and his son Lynn A. Schrock of Pittsburgh.  Rodney was a 1949 graduate of Somerset High School, and a US Navy Veteran serving in the Korean War.  He worked until his retirement in 1989 as a repairman for AT&T.  He was a member of Lodge 358 F&AM, Calvary United Methodist Church, Amateur Radio League, the Antique Wireless Assn, where he had written articles for their magazine, Somerset and Berlin Historical Society, SAR, and was a former member of Harrisburg Consistory, Jaffa Temple and Somerset County Shrine Club.  Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday with Reverend Arnold T. McFarland officiating.  Interment Husband Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels 235 W.
