Shirley Ann Beistel, 83, of Somerset, died May 13, 2016 at Somerset Hospice House.  Born November 19, 1932 in Somerset, she is the daughter of Frank Elwood and Olive Elizabeth (Nicholson) Friedline.  Preceded in death by her parents, husband Ira Wayne Beistel who died June 20, 2010, and a brother Gerald E. Friedline.  Survived by her children, Randy Beistel married to the former Tina Vesek and Carlie Beistel all of Somerset, grandsons Joshua and Jordan Beistel, and a half sister Carol Ann Long and husband Thomas of Friedens.  Shirley was a graduate of Rockwood High School, she worked for many years in many job capacities for Wheeler Brothers, she was also a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ.  Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset and one hour prior to the service at the church which will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Somerset with Reverend J.
