Elaine Leadbetter

Elaine Leadbetter, 105, of Somerset, died February 10, 2024 at The Patriot. Born May 7, 1918 in Somerset, she is the daughter of Harry Harbaugh and Melda V. (Shober) Ringler. Preceded in death by her parents, husband William Leadbetter, daughter Jean M. Sickle, brother Donald Ringler, and sister Lois Elliot. Survived by her children, Joyce A. Haddon and husband Roger of Somerset, Harry Craig Leadbetter and wife Sandra of Sipesville, grandchildren, Craig and Jill Leadbetter. Elaine was a graduate of Somerset High School, she worked until her retirement for Wheeler Brothers, Findley's Pharmacy, St. Peter's Catholic School, and the County Assistance Office, she was also a member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church. Friends received 10-11 a.m Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend Michael Dunlap officiating.
