Ann Graham Obituary

Ann Lynne (Parkinson) Graham, 84, of Somerset, went home to her Lord and Savior on August 17, 2019 at her home. She was joyously reunited with her husband of 44 years the late Allen Russell Graham. Born in Wheeling, WV, on October 5, 1934, the only child of the late Stanley Feather and Margaret Isabelle (Runge) Parkinson. Left to mourn is her cherished son Allen P. "Tad" Graham and her three precious granddaughters Alaina, Raegan, and Paige Graham, all of Mars, PA. A graduate of Triadelphia High School in Wheeling WV, Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. Formerly a professor at Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA, and a high school teacher in Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania including Shanksville and Somerset, and also taught many adult nigh classes over her career. Named "Woman of the Year" by the Junior Women's Club in Richmond, VA. A six year member of the Parish Counsel and was a devout member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, was a charter and life member and served as Secretary of the Somerset County Humane Society where she was a life-long tireless defender and advocate for animals. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, a funeral mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset with Father Angelo Patti Celebrant.
