Beverly Hayman Obituary

Beverly Ann (Shaulis) Hayman, 73, of Somerset, died July 13, 2018 at her home.  Born in Friedens, Pa she resided in Geneva,Oh from 1951-1966 to then move back to Somerset County where she was a long time resident of Glencoe. She moved to Somerset in 2015. Preceded in death  by her father, Carl Andrew in 1994, her mother Violet Norene (Willis) in 2013, son Larry Robert, Jr in 2002,  and Son-in-law Robert Kemp in 2007.  Survived by her husband of 43 years, Larry Robert, Sr., brother, Carl Wayne Shaulis and wife Phyllis (Leet) of Houston Tx. Children, Rick Allen Sr and wife, Wendy (Walker) of Somerset, Norene C. Kemp of Clayton NC, Jonathan Wayne and wife Holly (Custer) of Berlin, Rick Allen, Jr. (RJ) of Somerset. Step daughter Lore Rene and husband Jacob Baughman of Fairhope, her beloved  cousin Dorothy (Willis) White of Geneva Oh., grandchildren; Destiny Hayman Bobbi Kemp, Lucas, and Sami Jo Hayman; step grandchildren Kelsey Seifert (Baughman), Melanie Baughman, Shawnna Bowes, and Krista Bowes; great grandchildren Cameron and Rick Allen III Hayman, and step great grandson Hastin Bowes. Also many special nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved dearly. She graduated from Geneva HS in 1962 and attended Kent State Univ. She taught 3rd grade at the Assumption School in Geneva OH. Her life revolved around her family and children. She was active in the Berlin school district as president of the PTO while her children and grandchildren attended. She was a baton instructor for the competitive twirling group, Discoettes. She was the primary care giver of her parents for 21 years. She loved doing crafts, sewing, cooking, baking, gardening and most of all decorating for every season and holiday. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, and one hour prior to the service which will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Reverend Dr. David Williams officiating.  Interment will follow at Somerset County Memorial Park.  A celebration of life will then follow at Trinity United Church of Christ 600 Main St. Berlin, PA.  In Lieu of flowers the family is asking donations be made in Beverly's  name to In Touch Hospice PO Box 1173 Somerset PA 15501. www.haugerzeigler.com
