Charlotte Mae Ross

Charlotte Mae Ross, 80, of Port Charlotte, FL. formerly of Somerset, died Sept. 23, 2018 at Meadowview Nursing Center, Berlin.  Born May 16, 1938 in Westmoreland County, she is the daughter of Carl Edwin and Dorothy Matilda (Wingert) Waugaman.  Preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Ray Ross who died March 6, 2016, brother Barry Waugaman and an infant sister Bonnie.  Survived by her children:  Jeffrey Ross married to the former Cindy Foust,  Cynthia Kinsella and husband Michael all of Somerset; Jane Ross-Tomko and husband, David of Pittsburgh,  Donald Ross Jr married to the former Janice Dunlap of Somerset; and Michael Ross married to the former Shari Daquilante of Grantsville, MD; grandchildren: Jesse, Rebekah, Andrew, Lindsay, Dylan, Mitchell, Izzy, Carly, Ezra, Mckay, Luke and Demi; great-grandchildren: Lauren, Abigail, Madeleine, Eli, Beck, Anna Kate, Kale, Farah, Lennon and Harper; also sisters: Nancy Lee Allison of Port Charlotte, and Sandra K. Hamric of Naples, FL.  Charlotte was a 1956 graduate of Somerset High School, she worked until her retirement in 2000 with 19 years of service as a registrar for Somerset Hospital ER, she enjoyed card club, cross stitching, knitting, and collecting Pencil Santa's.  Friends received 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset where a service will immediately follow at 10 a.m. with Reverend Bill Stark officiating.  Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.  www.haugerzeigler.com
