Dorothy Seybold

Dorothy Jane Seybold, 82, of Somerset, died April  22, 2018 at Somerset Hospice House.  Born October 31, 1935 in Somerset Twp., she is the daughter of Perry H. and Rachel Pearl (Speicher) Will.  Preceded in death by her parents, husband Master Sergeant Arthur Martin Seybold USMC Ret. who died January 2, 2004, sisters; Iva Jean Julia, Alice Hostetler, and Marjorie Emert and brother Perry A. Will.  Survived by her children; Thomas Seybold married to the former Deborah Judy of Friedens, Teresa Devlin and husband Barrett of Wilson, NC, Nettie Emeigh and husband Ron of Shanksville, and Donald E. Seybold married to the former MaryBeth Wilcox of Friedens, also 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, and her sister Janet Keyser and husband Paul of Somerset.  Dorothy is a 1953 graduate of Somerset High School, she worked until her retirement as a secretary for the former North Side Heat Co. and later as a teachers aide for Friedens Elementary, she was also a member of DAR Forbes Road Chapter, Somerset Christian Fellowship, and past member of Somerset Historical Society.  No viewing or visitation a private service will be held at the convenience of the family with Reverend William J. Dodson officiating.  Interment Wills Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Somerset “In Touch” Hospice PO Box 1173, Somerset, PA 15501.
