Frank Kjeld Schmidt, 87, of Somerset, died August 24, 2018 at Somerset Hospice House. Born September 23, 1930 in Copenhagen, Denmark, he is the son of the late Aage and Gertrude (Kjeld)Schmidt. Survived by his wife the former Elizabeth Schipp, 2 sons, a step daughter, and 2 grandchildren. Frank is a US Air Force Veteran where he held the rank of Captain, he worked for the US Department of Defense, and later as a psychologist where he had a private practice and retired. No viewing or visitation, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to Children’s Aid Home 1476 N.
