Helen Marie Hauger

Helen Marie Hauger, 89, of Somerset, died November 5, 2018 at Rest Assured Living Center, Meyersdale.  Born March 12, 1929 in Indiana, PA, she is the daughter of Homer G. and Marie I. (Campbell) Nibert.  Preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack Hauger who died April 9, 2012, brothers; H. Charles and Harold Nibert, sister; Olive Mae Halverson, and an infant brother.  Survived by her son Michael Hauger married to the former Michele Tokarz of Friedens, and granddaughter Melissa Hauger and fiancee Chase Mardis of Friedens.  Helen was a 1947 graduate of Shanksville Stonycreek High School, she worked until her retirement as a toll collector for the PA Turnpike, she was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, and P.A.R.S.E.  She loved to travel, and spend time with her family and friends.  Friends received one hour prior to the funeral mass which will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset, with Father Mark Pattock O.F.M. cap celebrant  Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
