Herbert Clarence Stahl, 83, of Somerset, died September 13, 2017 at The Patriot, Somerset.  Born June 29, 1934 in Somerset, PA he is the son of Paul Franklin and Ferrill Susan (Bowman) Stahl.  Preceded in death by his parents, wife the former Mary Lou Suter, and brother Robert Stahl.  Survived by his daughters, Cathy Foust and husband John of Somerset and Susan Beal and husband Charlie of Listie, also step-children, Melody Wilson of Felton, Debra Yoder and husband Douglas of Red Lion, Donald Weigle and wife Nancy, and Shari Boden all of Somerset, Sharon Schappacher and husband Kelly of Dillsboro, IN, Randy Weigle and Joni Bittner husband Brian all of Somerset, Douglas Weigle of Pittsburgh, also numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, also close cousin Geraldine Mitchell. Herb is a 1952 graduate of Somerset High School, he worked until his retirement as a potato farmer and truck driver, he was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, and was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed deer hunting. A special thanks to Herb's caregivers at The Patriot for making his days a little brighter.  Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, and one hour prior to the service at the church which will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Somerset with Reverend Dena M.
