Jacqueline L. "Jackie" Kimmel, 93, of Somerset formerly of Friedens, died July 10, 2019 at The Patriot. Born January 4, 1926 in Quemahoning Twp. she is the daughter of Joseph Fred Lambert Sr. and Mary (Barron) Lambert-Walker. Preceded in death by her parents, Husband George Dale Kimmel who died October 9, 1988, daughter Georgia A. Lensbouer, son Barry L. Kimmel, sisters and brothers: Joanna Menser, Edwinna Urban, and Joseph "Fred" Lambert Jr. Survived by her granddaughter Melissa Maust of Somerset, and great-grandson Shane Maust and wife Ashley, also son-in-law George Lensbouer of Friedens. Jackie was a 1944 graduate of Somerset Township High School, she worked until her retirement in the greenhouse for Somerset Floral, she was a member of Listie Lutheran Church and later Faith Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School, and was on the church council. Friends received 10-11 a.m. Monday where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, with Reverend Kathy Stump officiating.
