Mary Margaret (Leecy) Hersch, 89, of Philson (Somerset Co.) passed away April 14, 2017 at Somerset Hospice House, Somerset. Born April 12, 1928 in Philson, she is the daughter of Anthony and Martha (Ernst) Leecy.  Preceded in death by her parents, husband Herman Kenneth "Kenny" Hersch who died October 3, 2010, daughter Mary Anne Hersch, sisters Martha, Clara, Lydia and Alice, and brothers George and Elmer.  Survived by her son Robert K. Hersch married to the former Susan Davis and granddaughter Amanda Hersch all of Somerset.  Mary attended Berlin Brothersvalley School, she worked for 20 years as a floor supervisor for Snyder's of Berlin, she enjoyed gardening, mowing the lawn and playing the piano.  Mary was a member of Grace Independent Bible Church where she played the piano and was an officer on the cemetery.  Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset where a service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Thomas Horner officiating.  Interment Grace Independent Bible Church Cemetery of White Oak.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Grace Independent Bible Church c/o Pastor Thomas Horner 211 Old Wittenberg Rd.
