Nadine Airesman Obituary

Nadine Jane Airesman, 90, of Edie, died March 18, 2018 at Somerset Hospital.  Born May 18, 1927 in Somerset, she is the daughter of Irvin Elmer and Olive Sabra (Lear) Wilt.  Preceded in death by her parents, husband Ray Franklin Airesman who died May 6, 2001, son John C. Airesman, sisters, Lucy Ramsel, Miriam Bittner, Dorothy Wilt, Mildred Fluck, Grace Combecker, Jeanetta Baer, Helen Twigg, Eileen Jay, Nancy Wilt and brother Irvin E. Wilt.  She is survived by her children, James Airesman and wife Carol of Elizabeth, Allen Airesman and wife Caroline of Pittsburgh, Thomas Airesman and wife Valerie of Washington Co., Eddy D. Airesman and wife Patricia of PIttsburgh, Timothy Airesman of Somerset and Wendy DeRobio of PIttsburgh, grandchildren, Tammy Connolly, Kim Briggs, John Airesman, Hope Maizer, Dawn Quinn, Ray A. Airesman, Tony DeRobio, Sean and Kylie Airesman, also 12 great grandchildren.  Nadine as a member of St. John's United Methodist Church where she held several offices and belonged to the Christian Women's Club, and WDS, she volunteered for 12 year for Meal's On Wheels in Pittsburgh, and 20 years for Somerset Food Pantry.  She lived in Pittsburgh for 35 years and later bought with her husband the Airesman Farm in Edie where her husband and sons started the orchard.  She spend the remainder of her life at the orchard.  Her biggest accomplishment in life was raising seven children, and having an happy and busy life.  Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset and one hour prior to the service at the church which will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's United Methodist Church, Edie with Reverend Thomas E. Brown officiating.  Interment Edie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to St. John's UMC 861 Edie Rd. Somerset, PA 15501. www.haugerzeigler.com
