Ralph Sredy

Ralph Sredy, 85, of Somerset, died November 6, 2018 at The Patriot.  Born September 4, 1933, in Elizabeth, PA, he is the son of Marko "Mark" and Anna (Protz) Sredy.  Preceded in death by his parents, wife the former Dorothy Jane Vought who died April 20, 2013, brothers; Rudolph and Stephen Sredy, sister; Florence Pelligreni, and daughter-in-law Lisa Sredy.  Survived by his sons; Stephen M. Sredy Sr. married to the former Charlene Acker of Berlin, and Ralph M. Sredy of Somerset, grandchildren; Stephen Sredy Jr., Olivia McVicker, Sara Beth Sredy, and Hanna Mae Sredy, great-granddaughter; Lyla McVicker, and brother Louis G. Sredy and wife Ruby of Somerset.  Ralph is a graduate of Somerset High School, and a US Navy Veteran of Korea, he worked until his retirement as a welder and superintendent for Soberdash Coal, he was also a member of Lodge 358 F&AM, and Messiah Lutheran Church.   Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thurday a the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, and one hour prior to the service which will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Messiah Lutheran Church, New Centerville, with Reverend Lee R.
