Richard T. “Dick” Lowrey, 67, Somerset, died August 8, 2017, in Meyersdale. Born December 26, 1949, in Meyersdale, son of Paul J. and Doris Mae (Holler) Lowrey. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Bonnie Kay (Mostoller) Lowrey, who died in 2014, children, Richard Jr. and Karen; brothers, Ken, Ben and John; and sister, Jane. Survived by sister-in-law, Lois Houpt and husband, Donald; and niece, Sherri Sanner and husband, Roger, all of Friedens. Dick was a US Army veteran of Vietnam. He worked as a truck driver and had a keen interest in cars, motorcycles, hot rods and car cruise-ins. He will be sorely missed.
