Susan Rae Ankeny

Susan Rae (Vought) Ankeny, 42, of Somerset, died March 14, 2018 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born October 12, 1975, in Somerset, she is the daughter of Robert Lee and Cheryl Ann (Swank) Vought.  Survived by her parents of Somerset, husband Jonathan David Ankeny to whom she was married 12 years, and the light and love of her life, her son Devlin; also survived by her brothers; Gregory Vought and wife Amy and Roger Vought all of Somerset.  Father and Mother in-laws; David and Randee Ankeny of Somerset, brother and sister in-laws Christopher and Shari Ankeny of Virginia Beach, also the nieces and nephew that Sue adored; Courtney, Haley and Carson Vought.  Sue was a 1994 graduate of Somerset High School and a graduate of St. Francis University, she was well loved and respected in her profession as a physical therapist for Somerset Hospital.  Sue was also a member of Grace United Methodist Church, she enjoyed coaching soccer, watching the Pens, and motorcycle rides.  Friends received 6-8 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset and one hour prior to the service at the church which will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Grace United Methodist Church, Somerset with Reverend Eric Raygor officiating.  Interment Husband Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Devlin N.
