William Guy Quatse

William Guy Quatse, 75, of Somerset, PA, died September 5, 2018 at Somerset Hospital.  Born May 19, 1943 in Greensburg, he is the son of Guy Anthony and Olive Lavina Catherine (Graham) Quatse Jr.  Preceded in death by his parents, daughter Kimberly Miller and stepson Raymond Shepardson.  Survived by his wife the former Barbara Jean Brown to whom he was married 42 years, son, David William Quatse and wife Denise of Mt. Joy, stepchildren Ronald Shepardson and wife Susan of Ord, NE, Russell Shepardson of Seattle, WA, and Donna Scherzinger and husband Gregory of Lansing, IL, 12 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, also brother Timothy G. Quatse and wife Linda of Jeannette, and Olive Ann Stewart and husband Jack of Greensburg.  Bill was a 1961 graduate of Greensburg High School, he was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam where he served as a helicopter crew chief.  He enjoyed woodworking, he was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Disabled American Veteran's, past member of Pine Grove Sportmen's Club.  Friends received 9 a.m. -12 noon Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where  a service will immediately follow at 12 noon with Reverend Eric Raygor officiating.  Interment Thompson Hill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Somerset Humane Society PO Box 182, Somerset, PA 15501 or Grace UMC 320 Felgar Rd.
