Alice Mae Deist, 78, of Somerset, died June 24, 2025 at UPMC Somerset Hospital. Born January 20, 1947, she is the daughter of Richard Morris and Lois Marie (Pyle) Pitzer. Preceded in death by her parents, and sister Sandra Lee Pitzer. Survived by her daughter Shannon Lauer and husband John, of Waynesboro, and grandson Gabriel and Jacob. Alice was a graduate of Somerset High School, she was currently working in the accounting department for Tri-Star Motors, and was a member of Calvary Church of Somerset. Friends received 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend Roger Howard officiating.
