Alice Marie Snyder, 100, of Pensacola, FL, formerly of Somerset, PA died July 13, 2023 at Emerald Gardens Assisted Living, Pensacola, FL. Born April 25, 1923 in West Newton, PA, she is the daughter of Carl and Mary (Lucas) Zierold. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Warren Snyder, and son Carl Snyder and brothers Bill, Ed, and Jack Zierold. Survived by her children: Joanne Painter and husband Greg of Somerset, Holly Krol and husband Conrad of Penscola, FL, and Jon Snyder and wife Jill of Mars, PA, grandchildren: Leanne Snyder, Brad Painter and wife Jo, Ashley Painter and husband Adam Kossarth, Zachary Painter and fiance Jill McWilliams, Kalie Boroi and husband Andy, Jacob Snyder and wife Erin, and Kyle Snyder and wife Macayla, great-granddaughters: Morgan, Piper, Eden, and Hadley. Alice worked until her retirement as a cashier for various grocery stores, she did not enjoy camping, but she did enjoy bowling, playing cards, and spending time with her family. Alice was persistent about feeding people, she had a great sense of humor and was loved by all of the staff at Emerald Gardens. Friends received 5-7 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 7 p.m with Pastor Brent Williams officiating.
