Alvie Wade Snider, 69, of Friedens, died December 17, 2020 at UPMC Somerset Hospital. Born September 10, 1951 in Mt. Pleasant he is the son of the late Donald and Patricia (May) Snider. Survived by his wife the former Debra Ann Niemiec to whom he was married 45 years, children, Frank Snider and wife Shannon of Gilbert, SC, and Marlana Hart and husband Shawn of Berlin, grandchildren; Allie, Austin, Chloe, and Elizabeth, sister Frances Snider, and brother Leslie Snider and wife Diane. Alvie was a US Navy Veteran of Vietnam, he worked until his retirement as a mechanic for Somerset County Transportation. Alvie also enjoyed camping.
