Andrew Robert Luteri, 21, of Somerset, passed away August 12, 2023 in Johnstown as a result of a motorcycle accident. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Robert and Julia Luteri. Survived by his parents Joseph and Heather (Fitzgerald) Luteri of Somerset, siblings Katherine "Kat" Luteri of Pittsburgh and Aaron "Butch" Luteri of Somerset, maternal grandparents Robert and Teresa Fitzgerald of Somerset. Aunts and uncles : Pete Luteri and his children Alec, Abby, and Emma, Mimi and Brian Bergamaschi children Ben and Laura and Mark Weimer and their children Maria and Ally, Robert Fitzgerald his daughter Katlynn and Shannon Hayman children Hope, Haley Zoey, Mattison, Carter and Hayden. Cassie Fitzgerald and children Riley, Marley and Wes. Rhonda and John Prihoda and children Holly, Zac, and Dana and cousin Rhett. Andrew was born August 14, 2001 in Johnstown weighing 8 lbs. 7 oz. Nurses said he was the biggest baby in the nursery. He was a happy baby, always smiling, and had the biggest blue eyes. As Andrew grew into a toddler and young child he was an ornery kid with an infectious smile. He was always helpful and would lend a hand. He played Little Eagle Football, SYBA Basketball, Pee Wee Wrestling, . He loved soccer and was quick on his feet even for his short stature. He played PA West Soccer, was a member of the Somerset Varsity Soccer where he helped his team win Districts his senior year. Andrew was also a member of Varsity Wrestling, played tennis and Jr. High Track in his freshman year...needless to say he was athletic, and graduated from Somerset High School in 2020. After high school he worked at Devilbiss Drive, a job which he loved. Andrew was a hard worker often helping his dad and brother with concrete work, pouring sidewalks and helping around the house. He loved his family dearly and was close to all of them . He also loved hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with family and friends. Andrew was funny and always made people laugh. He also loved animals, especially his cat Itty Bitty.The world lost an amazing person and all who knew him will miss him terribly . Please hug your loved ones tighter and say "I love you" more often. No viewing or visitation. A public mass will be conducted at 10 a.m,. Thursday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset, with Father Angelo Patti Celebrant. There will also be a celebration of life held at a later date.
