Obituary

Anna Mae Snyder, 90, of Rockwood, died April 13, 2022 at UPMC Somerset Hospital. She was born August 3, 1931 in Black Township and is the daughter of Wilbur H. and Julia A. (Benford) Swarner. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter Baker Snyder who died June 26, 2005, sisters; Lois Jean Shaffer, and Wanda June Kalp, a foster brother Melvin Lasure and an infant sister. She is survived by her sister Karen Walker and husband Donald of Rockwood, and numerous nieces and nephews. Anna Mae was a graduate of Rockwood High School, she worked until her retirement as a medical secretary for Musser & Jacobs Associates. She attended Laurel Mountain Chapel Church, and enjoyed sewing, gardening, and canning. Friends received 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m,. with Reverend Donald Judy officiating.
