Aubrey "Glenn" Townsend, 88, of Berlin, died October 22, 2022 at The Patriot. Born February 2, 1934 in Patmos, AR, he is the son of Henry Calvin and Izora (Adams) Townsend. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Loy, Hoyt, Wilbur, and Harold Townsend, and sisters; Lois Townsend, and Farrell Hughes. Survived by his wife the former Jennie Lee Hoffman to whom he was married 61 years, children; Bradley Townsend of Pittsburgh, Duane Townsend and wife Jennifer of Cypress, CA, and Paula Townsend of Somerset, grandson; Kyle Townsend of Cypress, CA, sister-in-laws Bobbie and Bette Townsend, also numerous nieces and nephews. Glenn was a US Air Force Veteran of Korea and Vietnam, he worked until his retirement as a research specialist for Wheeler Brothers, he was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, VFW, American Legion, and TREA. Friends received 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, a service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Somerset, with Josh Spangler officiating. Interment Lavansville Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mt.
