Barbara E. Dirienzo

Barbara Elayne Dirienzo, 79, of Rockwood, died June 15, 2023 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born May 15, 1944 in Pittsburgh she is the daughter of James and Emelia DiVittorio. Preceded in death by her parents, first husband Vernon Decker, second husband John J. "Jack" Dirienzo Jr., and sister Mary Ann Nyiri. Survived by her step-daughters: Lee Dirienzo and husband Andrew Romesberg, and Lauren Dirienzo, also step-grandsons: Blake and Riley Romesberg all of Somerset. Barbara worked until her retirement as an administrative assistant for Judge Shaulis and later Judge Cascio. She was a past member of Soroptimist, she had volunteered for Somerset Hospice House, and enjoyed the Steelers, NASCAR, and spending time with her grandsons, and her dog Duke. Friends received 9-11 a.m Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m, with Reverend Roger Howard officiating.
