Beatrice Pickett, 88, of Somerset, died August 15, 2022 at her home. Born June 1, 1934 in Somerset, she is the daughter of Eleyett and Lelar (Davis) Pickett. Preceded in death by her parents, daughter Pamela Maria Pickett, and sisters Betty and Brenda Pickett, and Ruth Fisher. Survived by her daughter, Jaqueline Lynn Pickett of Ellenwood, GA, sisters and brothers: Elaine Johnson of Somerset, Richard Pickett of Philadelphia, Limie Picket of Silver Spring, MD, and June Pickett-Dowdy of Pittsburgh. Bea was a 1952 graduate of Somerset High School, and a graduate of Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing. She worked until her retirement as a registered nurse for the former Somerset State Hospital. She was a member of Somerset Christian Fellowship, Laurel Highlands Chorale, and Retired Nurses of Somerset State Hospital. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday with Reverend Dr. Johnny M.
