Bernard Leslie Weaver

Bernard Leslie Weaver, 79, of Rockwood, died July 25, 2021 at his home.  Born October 14, 1941 in Jenners, he is the son of the late J. Frank and Elzora Kathryn (Snearly) Weaver.  Survived by his wife the former Patricia Ann Ream to whom he was married 54 years, sons; Michael Weaver and wife Lara of Somerset, and Daniel Weaver and wife Angie of Rockwood, grandchildren; Michael Weaver, Celia Sanner and husband Brandon, Christian, Garrett, Andrew, and Chloe Weaver, great-grandchildren; William and Emberlee Sanner, and brother; James Weaver and wife Donnalee of Stoystown.  Bernard was a graduate of Somerset High School, he was a US Navy Seabees Veteran; he worked until his retirement as a heavy equipment operator for PBS Coal with 39 years of service.  Bernard attended Kingwood Church of God, he was a member of NRA, and enjoyed farming, hunting, using his Wood-Mizer portable saw mill, cutting firewood, reading westerns, using his computer, and was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers.  Friends received 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, and from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the Kingwood Church of God, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend James Monticue officiating.  Interment Kingwood IOOF Cemetery, Military graveside rites accorded by the Somerset County Honor Guard.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Kingwood Church of God, or Kingwood Fellowship Center 119 Humbert Road, Markleton, PA 15551.  To leave a condolence please visit
