Betty L Brown

Betty Louise Brown, 78, of Somerset, died May 28, 2020 at Siemon's Lakeview Manor. Born January 18, 1942 in Somerset, she is the daughter of Garland Emerson and Martha Lelia (Sible) Schrock. Preceded in death by her parents, sister Shirley Constantine, and brother Edward Schrock. Survived by her children, William Brown Jr. married to the former Donna Ritenour of Grodonville, and Sherri Hoover and husband Brad of Somerset, grandchildren: Brooke Black and husband Andrew of Lancaster, Brandi Hooper and husband Milo of York, Zackary Brown of Gordonville, and Chloe Hoover of Somerset, great-grandchildren: Christian, David, Ethan, Breanna, and Noah; also, sister Patricia Ream and husband Clark and sister-in-law Judith Schrock all of Somerset. Betty was a graduate of Hempfield High School, she worked as a medical clerk for Rockwood Casualty Insurance until her retirement. She was also a member of Somerset Alliance Church. Due to health concerns viewing and services will be private with Rev. Dr. Scott Ream officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
