Betty June Hunter Obituary

Betty June Hunter, 95, of Somerset, died October 13, 2022 at her home. Born June 19, 1927 in Sullivan, IN, she is the daughter of Winfield and Bertha (Robbins) Alumbaugh. Preceded in death by her parents, and husband William Lewis Hunter who died January 26, 2004, brothers; Edward and James Alumbaugh and sister Mary Alumbaugh. Survived by her twin children; Constance West and husband Keith of Somerset, and Ronald Hunter married to the former Lynn Anne Kinsey of Greensburg, grandchildren: Richard West and wife Victoria, Amanda West Rad and husband Bobby, and Dillon and Dalton Hunter, great-grandchildren: Arden, Hope, Hunter, Griffin, and Skyler. Betty was a graduate of Finley High School in Imperial, PA, she was a past member of the Senior Bowling League, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, she also enjoyed gardening and bowling. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Reverend Andrew Brougher officiating.
