Betty Catherine Stiffey, 76, of Stoystown, died March 17, 2019 at her home. Born July 24, 1942 in Indiana County, PA, she is the daughter of Robert Albert and Elizabeth Ann (Lohr) Stiffey. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers: David, James, and Albert Stiffey and sisters: Evelyn Douds and Dolly Miller. Survived by her daughters: Yvonne Stiffey of Stoystown, Mary Bowser and husband John of Berlin, and Malinda Bender and husband Elijah of Oakland, MD, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson; also brothers: Joseph, Marty, Bill, and Phillip Stiffey, and sisters: Donna Hutzell and Louise Bucy. Friends received 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 10 a.m. with Bishop Sheldon Martin officiating.
