Betty Lou Wechtenhiser, 86, of Berlin, died May 25, 2020 in Somerset. Born January 28, 1934 in Listie, PA, she is the daughter of the late Howard Lewis and Mildred Mae (Stahl) Wechtenhiser. Survived by her many cousins and friends including cousins; Peter "Bob" Stahl and wife Betty, Betty Wahl and husband Butch, Ginny Lyons and husband Dean and close friends Rodney, Sue, and Cody Simmons. Betty was a 1951 graduate of Somerset High School, and a graduate of the Windber School of Nursing. She worked until her retirement in 1991 as a registered nurse for Somerset Hospital for 25 years and Siemon's Nursing Home for 10 years. She was also a longtime member of the Listie Grace Brethren Church in Listie. Due to the current health concerns viewing and services will be private with Reverend Chris Knight officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Listie Grace Brethren Church 179 Village Rd. Friedens, PA 15541.
