Blair Edward Brant

Blair Edward Brant, 73, of Stoystown, died May 4, 2018 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born February 5, 1945 in Somerset County, he is the son of Howard Jacob and Annabelle (Maust) Brant.  Preceded in death by his parents, wife the former Lynn Schuster who died July 7, 2012, and brothers Donald, William and Jack Brant.  Survived by his daughter Terri-Lynn Brant of Downingtown, sisters and brothers; Jean Welshons of Ligonier, Ronald L. Brant and wife Sue of Longview, WA, Faye Growden of Ft. Lauderdale, Debra Durstine and husband Rodger of Greensburg, and Sharon Graff and husband Bill of Homer City.  Blair was a 1963 graduate of Somerset High School, and a graduate of Clarion University where he was a member of the Alpha Gamma Phi fraternity.  He worked until his retirement with over 40 years of Service for Follett High Education Group.  He was a member of FOE Aerie 1801, enjoyed the outdoors where he would hunt and fish; and loved spending time with his dogs Fritz and Chase.  Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday with Reverend Barry K.
