Brenda Ellen Troy, 63 of Hillsborough, NJ, formally of Somerset, passed away peacefully on August 25,2024 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in NJ . Born December 27, 1960 in Somerset. She is the daughter of Charles Howard "Chuck" and Patricia Ann (May) Brant. She is preceded in death by her mother Patricia Brant and brother Brad Brant. Survived by her father: Chuck Brant, beloved husband Ron Troy to whom she was married 35 years, sister: Beth Lane and husband Mike, sister-in-law Cindy Brant (Brad Brant) nieces and nephews: Allie Lane, Anna Lane, Ashley Brant, and Adam Brant . Brenda was a registered nurse at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for 38 years until her retirement in 2020. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and spending time at the beach and her family cabin. Her biggest joy in life was to spend time with her family and pets. She was a true animal lover. Over the years, she contributed to rescue operations and fundraisers for animal welfare. Brenda was a wonderful wife, daughter, sister and Aunt "B". No viewing or visitation.
